New MV Agusta F3

New MV Agusta F3 A new work of art on wheels is arriving that will upset the balance of power. As with all MV Agustas this new model is synonymous with excellence, style and technology. The new F3 will apply these principles to a new market segment, the middle weight supersport category.

This up-spec bike will feature a number of high-end parts including a single-sided swingarm and forged aluminum wheels painted the same color as the frame. The bike also gets a special paint scheme devoid of any graphics. Furthermore the rearview mirrors are painted and the subframe is color-matched as well.

As expected, the F3 sportster a direct rival for the Triumph 675 Daytona and Daytona R, is priced at £9999 and will become available in February next year. MV has also confirmed the bike will produce 130bhp. Triumph’s Daytona 675 R currently costs an identical £9999.

Powerful, hyper-light and more compact than any other motorcycle in existence. The F3 sets the new standard by which all other supersport motorcycles will be judged and compared. A completely new project that was created by CRC, the research center that has continually designed and developed the motorcycles of dreams.

There are no hard numbers on the new bike yet, but MV Agusta has in the past claimed the engine has eclipsed the 135hp (99kW) mark and revs to more than 15,000rpm. Can we expect an ultimate power output of 140hp (103kW)? It's closest rivals, the Triumph Daytona 675, outputs 126hp (93kW).
