2014 HONDA CBR300R New Design

The new Honda CBR 300 has increased displacement creating more power than the previous version of the 250 with 30.4 Hp and 19.9ft-lbs of torque. The 2014 Honda CBR 300 has an increase in displacement by lengthening the stroke length, increased 8mm from 55mm to the new length of 63mm giving the CBR 300 a new displacement of 286cc. While the previous version of the Honda CBR already had excellent drivability with great low end torque. The New Honda CBR 300 will be even better. First gear wheelies were already easy on the previous Honda CBR , but now it's going to be even easier to lift the front wheel of the Honda CBR 300 off the ground.

Although Honda doesn’t release official sales figures to the media, it is no secret that the CBR250R has been a red-hot seller since its release in 2011. Out of the gate, the littlest CBR was priced right (under $4000), and offered the quality and refinement that we’ve come to expect from Honda over the years.

Honda revised the 6-speed gearing, with the last one now longer and thus making high-speed highway runs a lot easier and funnier. The 286cc single-cylinder was obtained by stroking out the one in the quarter-liter machine and the result is better acceleration and less vibrations.

Coming to the brakes and tyres, the CBR 300R will get much bigger brakes both in the front and the rear C-ABS will be available as an option in this upcoming model. 110/70-17 and 140/70-17 will be the size of the tire doing duties in the new CBR300R in the front and the rear respectively.

Honda NC700X Concept

Honda NC700X Concept Honda have released the first official pics of the new NC700S and NC700X, which are due to be shown at the EICMA motorcycle show this week. Pitched as fun and affordable mid-sized machines, the NC700S and NC700X offer easy handling and are suitable for commuting and/or weekend use.

These three bikes also share the same 47 hp 643cc engine and the 17″ wheels, fitted with a 120 tyre on the front and a 160 on the rear. The NC700X also boasts a storage space for the helmet in place of the fuel tank, which has been positioned under the saddle. Here are the first pics taken live at the 2011 EICMA, check them out.

The NT700X which I rode is one of three machines to debut the parallel twin engine, the other two being the more conventionally road-styled NC700S and the Integra scooter. It’s not just the power unit which they share, but the rolling chassis too, or as Honda calls it, the platform.

The 2012 Honda NC700X is fitted with the same 670cc twin-cylinder engine as the 700S, but gets ‘crossover’ styling cues and some off-road capabilities. ‘The NC700X crossover offers the long-travel suspension, agility and commanding riding position of an off-road bike in an overall package with high standards of stability, braking and engine performance. It promises a fun, engaging riding experience together with the practicality and ease of use that make it a machine eminently suitable for daily commuting,’ says a press note from honda

New Feature Honda CB Dazzler Deluxe

New Feature Honda CB Dazzler Deluxe Honda Motorcycle in India, introduced a variant of CB Dazzler Deluxe 150cc sport. These variants in Indonesia known as the New Mega Pro, but have striping and different from those in Indonesia.

For now, the CB Dazzler still retains the tried and tested 149.1cc, SOHC 2 valve four stroke engine, much acclaimed for its butter like smoothness which some motorcyclists cringe at for being too smooth. Yes, people even complain about an engine that they feel is too smooth.CB Dazzler does feel rorty in the mid range, especially with the accompanying intake growl of the paper type air filter, which makes matters a little frisky cool. The engine produces 14 Bhp and 13.1Nm of torque to lug around the heavy 138 kilogram kerb weight.

Unique features like a two-tone seat, new design mirrors, handlebar weights, a 3D emblem, and standard equipment like a digital meter and front/rear disc brakes should make the Deluxe variant of the CB Unicorn Dazzler the preferred choice. On sale across Honda showrooms by the end of November 2011, the CB Unicorn Deluxe is priced at Rs 66,198 (ex-showroom, Delhi), a trifle higher than the standard variants.
Specifications :

2012 Triumph Tiger Explorer Concept have a brand-new adventure touring bike in their 2012 line-up – the Tiger Explorer which is fitted with a new, 1215cc three-cylinder engine that produces 137 horsepower and 121Nm of torque. This is a high-tech machine, with ride-by-wire throttle control, switchable anti-lock brakes and traction control.

The chassis is made of steel, while the wheels are cast aluminum (19″ up front, 17″ in the back).

Honda RC-E Electric Concept

Honda RC-E Electric Concept Until today it seemed Honda was content to dabble in commuter electrics while smaller, more nimble companies tested the waters of electric motorcycle racing and nailed down the market for electric two wheelers.

Up to this point, most of the motorcycle OEMs (with the exception of KTM) have shown a casual disinterest for the most part in the burgeoning electric vehicle industry. The Honda RC-E may be a watershed of sorts in signaling that at least one of the major manufacturers is looking into a serious street-going electric motorcycle. Although with Honda—which has always prided itself on not only its technological prowess, but also its eco-friendly reputation among the manufacturers in both the automotive and motorcycle industries—this wasn’t an entirely surprising move.

Electricity isn't free and though standard outlets may already be plentiful, you'll need to find a friendly someone who will let you plug in, or a recharging station, and then you wait, perhaps for hours. Maybe bikes will have the ability to add some non rechargeable batteries, so you run into a hardware store to buy a few motorcycle Duracells or the like, to get you far enough down the road to where a real recharge is possible.

Last but not least would be the established dealer network that Honda already has in place. It would be difficult for the current start-up OEMs to offer similar levels of support which in turn could give Honda the benefit of jumping into the game now that the market is wide open. On the flip side, if Honda takes the RC-E concept into production it will help give legitimacy to a market segment currently dominated by young companies.

2012 Honda VFR 1200 F Review

2012 Honda VFR 1200 F Review Honda redesigned the Honda VFR, bringing previous-800cc era up to 1200cc, the new model titled the VFR1200F.The machine was totally revamped using concepts from MotoGP and other cutting-edge motorcycle enviroments, from different fairings to a tweaked chassis to the power-hungry satisfying 1237cc V4.

New matte-gray paint highlights the 2012 CB1000R naked bike, which will return to dealers in March 2012 otherwise unchanged. After a successful launch last year, the surprisingly popular CBR250R returns in February bearing three color schemes—black, red/white/blue and red/silver. The irrepressible Ruckus likewise gets new paint, a red/white scheme. And the Silver Wing big scooter whirrs into 2012 unchanged. Both scooters will hit showrooms in February.

A second-generation dual clutch transmission now “intelligently optimizes shift points relative to the rider’s throttle inputs for more user-friendly operation.” Adding to the user-friendly nature of the VFR is an increase in torque between 2000-4000 rpm — where the majority of riders will spend their time. The gauge cluster LCD is now tweaked to include readouts that give instantaneous fuel consumption, average fuel consumption, remaining range and traction control activation. This to go along with the clock, ambient temperature and ABS indicator seen on the previous model.

2012 The Honda Rune Concept

2012 The Honda Rune Concept is powered by a large 1,832c liquid-cooled overhead-cam, horizontally-opposed six-cylinder engine that was indeed built for a new GL1800 Gold Wing. Apparently, Honda engineers desired a powertrain so most they motionless to put it on a Rune too. That’s a unequivocally good thing since as one of a some-more considerable prohibited rods to ever be built by Honda, it had to come with considerable opening credentials.

Taking all the set-up characteristics of the two bikes and combining them to form one package, Honda essentially made the Rune one of the most important bikes of its line-up. Its cutting-edge design and expansive powertrain capabilities took the model into uncharted territory, establishing new directions that no other manufacturer had ever attempted.

The example most often cited by both sides of the issue is the Rune’s radiator. The designers found a radiator that looked right and fit the space they wanted to fill. The engineers found that radiator moved about 20% of the BTUs they needed it to handle. The engineers would have rearranged the surrounding parts, reshaped the front fender and stuffed a great big radiator in there.

2011 SYM Symba 110 Spesification

2011 SYM Symba 110 Spesification Taiwanes scooter maker Sym used to build the Honda Cub under licence for Honda and the heritage of the Symba 100 harks back to that era. Select Scooters markets the Sym brand in Australia and many people would remember them marketed under the name of Bolwell.

The 2011 SYM Symba 110 made from a pressed-steel monocoque chassis with plastic bodywork with the telescopic fork and adjustable dual shocks as the suspension. Other standard features are including the LED-light fuel gauge, small parcel rack, and of course, the passenger seat scooter, the 2011 Symba 110 has total carry capacity just 199 pounds which means that if you want to bring a passenger, make sure it weighs around 40-pounds or less.

The main differences of the WoWow compared to the old Passport consist of a modernized electrical system (12V instead of the old 6V system), an electric start, a 4-speed semi automatic transmission and an increased engine size of 110cc, which now allows the Symba to reach a top speed of over 55mp/h.

The first obstacle you'll have to cross is operating the Symba. It's not like a modern scooter and learning to ride it takes some adjustment from your run-of-the-mill twist 'n' go. To start it, you hold in the brake pedal and lever and thumb the starter, or you can park it on its center stand and kick the folding kickstart lever. Either way, after a minute or two of warm-up, it's ready to ride.

Storage-wise we have the promise of accessories to come, but you can source front baskets and rear panniers if storage is your main priority. Like I said prior, you can also remove the rear seat and attach a topbox easily, no matter what the size. You do get an external helmet lock that allows you to store your helmet safely once parked.

2012 Honda CBR1000RR Feature

Honda’s CBR1000RR has long been a favorite around the MO offices, especially since the 2008 version tested here. Nearly as light as a 600 but with liter-class-leading midrange power, the big double-R vaulted to the top of its class.

The changes to the 2012 Fireblade look to include a freshly angular front end, new colours (including this HRC livery), and will probably reveal some mechanical upgrades, including Showa big piston front forks. Otherwise, we don’t know what other changes might be brewing under the very familiar fairing.

Starting with the chassis, the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR now utilizes Big Piston Fork technology, complemented by Honda’s “Balance-Free Rear Shock.” Exactly what the new configuration brings to the table is being kept under wraps until the upcoming press introduction of the new model. Stay tuned for a technical explanation of Balance-Free in the coming months.

Next, the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR sport bike carries new information system features a large, LCD-style dashboard with digital tech running horizontally across the top, large speedometer in the center, lap-timer, gear position indicator, engine temp, clock, trip meters, and a series of shift-indicator lights across the upper edge of the dash frame.
