Lito Green Motion Review

Lito Green Motion Review is a Quebec-based company, has unveiled the new Sora electric motorcycle that promises 185 miles on a single charge. The design is glaringly inspired from café racers, street fighters and the bobber types and comes out with a carbon-fiber quilt.

Sora features some amazing characteristics, such as the position electric seat that can be adjusted in height. The powerplant is a liquid-cooled 3-phase AC induction electric motor and, with the help of the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), the bike manages to accelerate clutchless from 0 up to its maximum speed of 120 mph (193 km/h). The acceleration from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes about 4 seconds and the maximum torque level is 59 lb-ft (80 Nm).

The battery needs 8 hours to recharge. The bike that weighs 529 pounds talks speed. It can jump up to 60 miles per hour in about four seconds, thanks to the 59 lb-ft of torque it offers but it’s the continuously variable transmission (CVT) that actually makes it speedy by further pushing the speed till 120 mph.

The seat is also electric, which can be adjusted at various heights from low to high, as per your convenience at the touch of a button. It has a GPS system embedded in the touch screen display, which will make sure the rider reaches the correct destination and doesn’t feel lost. Sora also has high-end suspension and brake components to keep you super safe even if you accelerate it to a high speed.

Price is C$42,399 (ouch), but you might get tax incentives and rebates because this is an electric vehicle. It's not entirely clear on the site, but apparently deliveries should begin in October 2011.
